After five years spent ‘in exile’ in Billinge, the Wooden Horse Folk Club has now returned to The Junction, a natural home for music makers.

With residents Quartz, Loctuptogether, and Mark Dowding the Club boasts a rich core of talented musicians and singers, to which are added, for ‘Singers Nights’, an eclectic mixture of members and visitors, musicians, singers, poets, and some who come just to listen, creating a Folk Club which caters for all tastes.

Residents, minus instruments

Once a month, other than during the Summer, the Wooden Horse hosts a ‘Guest Night’, bringing to The Junction some star names on the British folk scene.

Visitors are always welcome at the Wooden Horse, whether taking in a ‘Guest Night’, or looking to perform, or just listen, on a ‘Singers Night’.
There is a small entry fee on ‘Singers Nights’, and only a little extra on a ‘Guest Night’.
Come and give it a try, you will not be disappointed.
